Prestige Management Group Signs SWAC Freshman of the Year Juan Cruz
Alabama State First Baseman and Power Hitter becomes first baseball player to sign with PMG.
DALLAS, TEXAS (September 23, 2024) - Prestige Management Group (PMG) is excited to announce the signing of Juan Cruz, Alabama State University’s powerhouse first baseman, to its roster of elite athletes. Standing 6’5" and weighing 240 pounds, Cruz has emerged as a dominant offensive force in college baseball, combining size, power, and precision in his game. His signing marks the first baseball player to PMG’s impressive lineup of athletes poised for success at the highest level.
Cruz’s performance during his Freshman year in 2024 was nothing short of remarkable. Showcasing his ability to hit for both power and contact, Cruz batted .388 with 11 home runs, 10 doubles, and 57 RBIs in just 47 games with 21 multi-hit games and a 23 game hit streak to close the season. Cruz’ powerful right-handed swing, coupled with his ability to handle high-pressure situations, makes him a significant threat in any lineup. Beyond his offensive prowess, his defensive skills at first base, enhanced by his size and athleticism, have earned him recognition as one of the most well-rounded first basemen in college baseball, and awards including SWAC Freshman of the Year and All-SWAC First Team honors.
