DeLeye
Brooklyn DeLeye is one of collegiate volleyball’s most dynamic and decorated athletes. She is the current SEC Player of the Year.
An outside hitter for the Kentucky Wildcats, DeLeye’s journey from Topeka, Kansas, to the pinnacle of collegiate volleyball has been nothing short of extraordinary. In her sophomore year at the University of Kentucky, DeLeye lead the Wildcats to their first Elite Eight berth in four years, earning honors as SEC Player of the Year, First-Team All-American, and finalist for AVCA’s National Player of the Year, solidifying her status as one of the top volleyball players in the nation. These achievements followed an exceptional freshman campaign, during which she claimed the SEC Freshman of the Year title and multiple SEC Player and Freshman of the Week awards.
Internationally, she was chosen to represent Team USA at the 2024 Women’s U21 NORCECA Continental Championship, where she played an instrumental role in securing the gold medal for her team. Her outstanding performance earned her the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Best Spiker awards.
“Brooklyn DeLeye got every team's best shot all season... And still played her way into an All-America selection”

What people are saying
“Usually you get out of something what you put into it. She puts a lot of work and effort into things. She has gifts athletically but the effort she puts in is the most important thing. There is nothing she doesn’t want to improve on.”
— Coach Craig Skinner, Head Coach University of Kentucky
“Missouri cannot stop Brooklyn DeLeye right now, whether that's behind the service line, at the net, out of middle back, or on the D ball out of right back. MY GOODNESS. She's up to 11 kills on a .579 clip to go along with an ace and the Cats lead 19-11 to force a Mizzou timeout.”

“Lexington, KY: Wildcats roar to a massive S1 win! (3) KY Volleyball hits .516 as a team in a 25-11 rout, taking an early 1-0 lead vs (6) Minnesota. SEC POTY Brooklyn Deleye had more kills in S1 (8) than Minnesota did (6).”
